Wow! I can believe you are not longer here; you were a great friend to all of us, always saying hi with a big smile, always making everyone laugh, you were true friend and you will remain like that forever in our hearts. Starting a new life in a new country can be extremely hard, but meeting people such as Leo makes all that worth it. One of the first people I met in CHS was Leo, and man he was something. Not only did he have a big heart and a joyful soul, but he knew how to spread what he had on to others it was infectious, and there was no cure. Leo was someone who always made me laugh, and I'll never forget the times we had--me and Charlotte at Breakheart with him and Jan, being in Charlotte's pool, having a crush on him sophomore year and how nice he was about it afterward, even the funny way he used to pronounce my name. I never realized how much he meant to me until I didn't have him in my life anymore. I regret that we didn't keep in touch as much after graduation, but I will always consider him one of my closest friends, and keep his memory in my heart forever. I miss you, Leo. Close

For my senior year at Chelsea High I was the new kid. But let me tell you I didn't feel like it after I started to meet people and especially Leo. He always had a smile for me, playing jokes and making my senior year amazing. He was a great friend always willing to go that extra mile to help you out in any way he could. He was truly an amazing human being. I will always remember him calling me Norma, my spanish class name, and laughing about the goofy things he said and did in anatomy class. Your smile will always be with me, thanks for having been such a great person!

LEO WAS ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE OF ALL OF THE STUDENTS I HAVE TAUGHT IN MY 32 YEARS OF TEACHING. HE WAS SMART, ENERGETIC AND UN POCO LOCO. HE SOMETIMES DROVE ME CRAZY BUT I LOOKED FORWARD TO HIS BEING IN CLASS. HE WAS DEFINITELY A POSITIVE INFLUENCE IN THE CLASSES I TAUGHT HIM. HE CAME TO CLASS AFTER LUNCH EATING CARROTS WHICH HE NEVER FINISHED ON TIME. I WAS IMPRESSED BY HIS CHOICE OF HEALTHY FOOD ALTHOUGH HE KNEW HE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO EAT IN CLASS! I WAS SHOCKED AND DEEPLY SADDENED BY HIS UNTIMELY PASSING AND THINK OF HIM FONDLY AND VERY OFTEN. HE CONTINUES TO BE A STRONG AND VITAL PRESENCE. Close
EVERY THING ABOUT LEO WAS "AMAZING". I was fortunate to have shared the last 5 years of my life with him, and in those 5 years, he gave me butterflies everyday. Each and every moment with him was an adventure I will never forget; flying our kites on soldiers home, working on his room, fixing Lisa, and the junk yard adventures are only the beginning. Together we built memories I will forever cherish. Baby I will miss our adventures but I know that there is another adventure somewhere waiting for us to share once again. IN MY HEART YOU WILL FOREVER LIVE. I LOVE YOU BABY. Thank you for sharing your life with me. I was very blessed. YOU WILL FOREVER BE MY HEART.

He was always there for me when I was bored, or needed a ride... Even my dog loved him, and he would complain of how she would sit and just lick his hand for hours. My dog doesnt like anyone! I'll really miss Leo and I wish I could have said goodbye. I offer my condolences to his family, girlfriend, and friends. Close
